I stopped here after visiting the Wright museum last week and it did not disappoint. The food was really good and hot. The plate was brought to my table with napkins! The rice, chicken, and plantains were really good. It was more than enough for lunch and dinner for me, but unfortunately, I couldn’t take my leftovers because I had to drive back to Chicago. The customer service was really good. People were walking around asking me if I needed anything. I will definitely visit this location again!!!

This is my second time at the Yum village. The food is great! Today I order their village bowl and they balanced the flavors so well. The sweetness and texture of the chickpeas were an unexpected delight. They doing it for the culture over there.

First visit, but definitely not my last. Ordering online was simple, and I went with the Hot Bowl of the Day. The tang of the banana peppers, the spice of the jerk chicken, the sweet, smoky BBQ chicken, the rice and greens, and those slightly sweet cornbread hush puppies all brought different flavors and textures. Delicious! I should've ordered the plantains. I still appreciate the human touch, so ordering online or from a tablet can feel a bit disconnected. I understand that's the direction many restaurants are going, though.

love this word game, we love J Dilla hell yeah.. great service, they are lovely people, food made with love for sure… spicy too hehe and overall a nice place.. your order may take time tho, but like the mtv show boilingpoints said: “it pays to be patient”

Every bite is packed with flavor, texture, and intention. The food was incredible here and I loved my hot bowl. The portions are generous but absolutely tasty. Better yet, the staff and chef are so kind - you feel at home. Their desserts are also absolutely delicious. The sweet potato cheesecake was soft but had a nice crunch and flavor profile from the cake and pecans. This place is no joke- you have to check it out.
